Spirits made with back, hand and heart.

Tommyrotter Distillery approached Block Club with an ambitious idea: become a dominant brand in the rapidly growing craft distilling industry. We began by developing the distillery’s identity, brand story and tagline, before moving onto packaging. The packaging system we created would support the initial launch of the distillery’s American gin and small batch vodka and looked ahead to future spirits including triple-barrel American whiskey and limited-release Masterwork Collection spirits like cask strength bourbon-barrel gin and Napa Valley heritage cask bourbon. Stationery, promotional materials, an ad campaign, website, and the interior design of the distillery’s tasting room rounded out our holistic approach to brand building. The identity is a modern take on the Arts & Crafts style, drawing inspiration from the movement’s nature-inspired aesthetic. The distillery’s interior embodies the marriage of modern and minimalistic: white-painted brick walls, white oak, and accents of raw steel and black allow the Tommyrotter bottles to stand out with color and focus. The bar’s herringbone pattern and custom retail furniture, designed by Block Club and built by a local craftsman, complete the space.
