Refreshing the Lexington Co-op brand

We are thrilled for our good friends at the Lexington Co-op who are celebrating the grand opening of their highly anticipated second location on Hertel Avenue today.

We have been working on a brand refresh for many months to coincide with this milestone, working closely with the Co-op to develop an identity that is fresh and forward-facing while staying true to their roots and history. This includes the icon of the apple, a familiar symbol of the Co-op’s commitment to bringing fresh, local food to the community. We designed an identity in a streamlined, nested lockup, pairing the apple with a friendly sans-serif.

In addition to the new identity, Block Club designed collateral and lots of exciting new signage (including wayfinding, banners, murals and much more) for the interior and exterior of the store. The Lexington Co-op is a place close to hearts of everyone at Block Club and we are so happy to see it all come together. Many more photos to come of the interior spaces and signage designs.

The Hertel Avenue location is officially open today (July 12), go check it out!

Ready for better? We can help.
