Designing the Tommyrotter Interior

In building the brand for Tommyrotter Distillery, we were tasked with developing every facet of Tommyrotter, including the interior. Interior design is crucial to branding and I was thrilled to take the reins here.

Throughout planning the interior, I sought to highlight the space’s industrial heritage but with a modern, minimalist take – that combination aligns perfectly with the Tommyrotter brand story.

Abundant natural light flows into the tasting room which was designed to feel bright, balanced, minimal but comfortable. The tasting room features white-painted brick walls, warm white oak, and accents of raw steel and black – allowing the vibrant Tommyrotter gin and vodka labels to lend color and take focus.

We designed the retail furniture and had it built by a local craftsman out of white oak and raw steal tubing. I particularly love the herringbone pattern on the bar. Even the lighting – designed by Form Us With Love for Muuto – is a classic industrial design that has been reinterpreted in a surprising soft silicone rubber.

A curated selection of cocktail-related goods and Tommyrotter brand paraphernalia is available for purchase.

If you haven’t been, stop in and taste the vodka and gin. They’re getting rave reviews!

Ready for better? We can help.
