I’ve always said, “A clean workspace is an efficient workspace.” I strive to adhere to this credo for both my physical area, as well as my Mac desktop. However, I am often frustrated by constantly having to click back and forth to different windows and monitors to find the information I need. Spending time organizing windows by resizing them and spacing them in a productive order can be maddening.
I recently discovered an app called Magnet that solves this problem by making window management a breeze. Simply pull each window into a specific corner of your screen, and the window will “click” into a configured template space that will allow you to align multiple windows across multiple monitors. I’ve been told this is a standard feature of all Windows platforms, but now the ease of desktop control is now available to Macs.
