It’s an incredible feeling to manage a team of internal stakeholders and to have seen the overwhelming success of our brand platform refresh on only the first draft. It feels like Block Club gets us, maybe even better than we understand ourselves.

Brand Services
Start with a strong foundation.

Brand platform & messaging Guide
A brand platform & messaging guide provides the comprehensive brand foundation from which all current and future product, sales and marketing messaging should be developed for proper brand cohesion and messaging clarity. This guide ensures that all messaging is driven by brand rather than by product. It can be used for developing website messaging, sales sheets, lead conversation scripts, and new hire onboarding materials.

our process
We partner with clients to develop a brand platform that takes them where they want to go.
Ahead of production work, Block Club will lead a series of workshops and discovery meetings to gather critical brand information and objectives from your team. In meetings with your project stakeholders from leadership, sales and marketing teams, Block Club will ask questions and lead conversations around the nuances of your current and desired brand position, target audiences, value propositions per audience, points of difference, competitive landscapes, brand voice and tone, customer feedback, sales wins and losses, and any other critical market information that may influence Block Club’s work.
We’ll assess needs and brand value across sales targets and ultimate product users, and review varied concerns and needs by group.
Prior to this work, Block Club will review any existing brand findings and platform methodology your team can share, and leverage this work as the foundation upon which Block Club will advance brand exploration and expansion.

Our work
Brand Platform & Content Work in Action

BranD platform
& Content retainer
Since 2020, we’ve worked closely with Argyle leadership to build out the brand’s voice and personality, fine-tune its brand & messaging platform, and iterate on both as the company’s product, positioning, and sales objectives evolve—work that culminated in the launch of new, improved, and meticulously crafted website messaging as well as dozens of pieces of branded content for every stage of the buyer’s journey. Our work helps generate and nurture leads, and provides Argyle’s sales team with the supportive materials it needs to close deals and grow fast.

Content Retainer
In 2018, Plaid was growing rapidly and needed compelling content to empower their sales team, but lacked the bandwidth to develop a solution in-house. In 2018, they engaged Block Club to build a solution. During the period of our partnership, we functioned as an extension of Plaid’s marketing team to support and execute their sales enablement strategy. Block Club developed a portfolio of pitch-perfect case studies that any Plaid employee could confidently use to execute on the company’s sales strategy. Each case study was carefully crafted to emphasize data-based evidence, speak to Plaid’s core values and messages, and adhere to Plaid’s distinct brand voice. Simultaneously, Block Club worked to create engaging social media content, driving traffic to the case studies on their website to bolster their marketing efforts.

Brand Platform & Content Retainer
When fintechs reach rapid-growth, content marketing needs escalate—and quickly outpace internal bandwidth. That was the case with Codat—the universal API for business data—when it turned to Block Club for content strategy and advanced content production services. With its $100 million Series C in sight, the rising startup needed a partner that could work in lockstep with its team to strategize and execute sophisticated content reflective of its status and in service of its objectives.
We worked closely with the Codat team to understand the fintech’s evolving objectives, suss out priorities, and identify where to plug in Block Club for maximum impact. We then developed a comprehensive inbound marketing strategy to support Codat’s lead-gen goals, worked with Codat to fine tune its brand messaging platform, created ongoing thought leadership pieces including long-form blog posts and proprietary whitepapers, developed robust case studies, and much more.
