Vera Pizzeria, the popular restaurant and prohibition-style cocktail bar, called on Block Club to help them develop a customer loyalty product to help drive sales and keep customers happy. The Vera 100 Club is a unique offering—a passport featuring 100 different cocktails. Passport holders get their book stamped and keep notes as they taste each cocktail and work their way through the book. The passport also helps drive repeat business by offering additional offers like discounts, early registration for classes, and exclusive deals. The client wanted this to be a premium purchase attractive primarily to their most loyal customers. Our strategy included limiting the passport to a run of 100 printings. We employed printing techniques that lent a tactile, high-quality, exclusive touch. We sourced a heavy, uncoated black linen paper for the front and back covers, which are gold foil-stamped and embossed. Inside pages have gold-stamped edges. The book is printed in black and metallic gold Pantone ink and bound with a copper saddle stitch for added luxury. The Vera 100 Passport is in a class of its own, both in its offerings and its execution.
