Happy Thanksgiving From Block Club

What a year! As we take a couple days off this week to celebrate with our families, Block Club would like to extend a very happy Thanksgiving to all of of our clients, partners and readers. We’re grateful to have shared another year of wanting better with you all, and hope you enjoy your day with the people you love. Here are a few of the things our team is thankful for this year.

Bri Anderson, Brand Manager
In the past month, my life has seen many changes—new city, job, home and mode of transportation. I’m thankful for the support from my new community and the opportunities that lie ahead. <3

Adam Buehler, Brand Manager
I am thankful for my new dog, Buddy. He’s a five-year-old lab who loves belly rubs, running in circles and is definitely a good boy.

Brandon Davis, Co-founder & Creative Director
Having spent most of the past year recovering from a ski accident and subsequent knee surgery, I’m thankful for my health, my patient husband, and the the good people at UBMD Orthopaedics and Physical Therapy.

Patrick Finan, Co-founder & Principal
I’m thankful for healthy food and the farmers who grow it. More specifically, the Oles Family and their incredible CSA that supplies many of us at Block Club along with area restaurants with locally grown, healthy vegetables and fruits all year long.

Dave Horesh, Partner & Director of Strategy
I’m thankful for the Due app, which is responsible for managing my to-dos and reminding me incessantly that it’s time to send an email/take out the garbage/give the dog his meds. Without Due, I’d be done.

Ryan McMullen, Designer
I am thankful to live in a city where it’s easy to pursue creative projects and meet creative people. I am thankful that I get to come to work every day for a company I believe in with people I respect. I am thankful that my landlord still doesn’t know what New Buffalo rent is like.

Julie Molloy, Designer
I am thankful for my pets and the pets of my friends, whose ignorance of all of the scary stuff happening in the world allows them to be an endless source of goofs. There is so much to take in and try to process every day, and this year I am grateful to come home to the sweetest dog who is always in a good mood and a cat who is never in a good mood but at least has a sense of humor.

Ben Siegel, Content Strategist
I’m thankful for my friends and family who provide constant support, understanding and love, which is all I really need, and a new apartment that finally feels like home, which is also important.

Steve Soroka, Studio Manager
After a little health scare earlier this year, I’m beyond grateful for the support from my family and a clean bill of health.

Tim Staszak, Designer
I’ve got a lot to be thankful for—health, a home, family and work—but if I had to break it down I think it would be all of the little moments spent being a dad, laughing, learning, running around and talking gibberish with my son for the first year of his life.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
