Culture Amp is an employee experience platform that helps business leaders make the best people decisions, so they can improve employee engagement, performance, and development in the workplace.
With a customer base of 6,000 companies serving 25 million employees worldwide, the Australia-based company sought to extend its reach in North America. But first, they needed content in place to support their global sales efforts. In 2022, Culture Amp teamed up with Block Club to ramp up their case study production and appeal to a North American audience.

CHALLENGE

Backed by rigorous people science and thoughtful UX design, the Culture Amp platform has a well-earned reputation for driving business success by way of improving the employee experience. 

The problem was, Culture Amp’s case studies didn’t always tie their platform’s compelling value proposition to tangible, real-world business results. As Culture Amp prioritized business development efforts in North America, they needed new case studies—ones that showcase the meaningful, measurable impact the platform has on the companies that use it.

SOLUTION

Assured by our proven track record of producing sales-driving case studies for leading tech companies like Plaid, Culture Amp entrusted Block Club with assimilating their strategic vision for the new case studies, assessing the state of their case study program relative to the vision, making additional recommendations for improvement, and producing a series of case studies in line with the revamped approach.

To anchor our efforts and produce the best work possible, we began our engagement with brand discovery and competitive landscape research to tease out Culture Amp’s most differentiating attributes and value propositions and its unique voice and tone. 

From there, the Block Club team dove deep into Culture Amp’s existing case studies, completing a thorough audit that culminated in actionable takeaways and a clear-cut template for all case studies moving forward.

As Culture Amp’s preferred case study partner, Block Club conducts one-on-one interviews with the company’s customers. Our goal during each interview? To help interviewees verbalize how their Culture Amp experience measurably supported their business goals and to suss out the narrative details that support Culture Amp’s overarching brand messaging strategy. 

When we’re not creating case studies, we’re also helping Culture Amp make the most of its content resources by creating long-form, top-of-funnel content from the company’s archives of webinars, and conference session recordings.

Results

At the time of publication, Culture Amp was on track to double, if not triple, their annual case study volume thanks to their relationship with Block Club, who was able to bring the strategic vision for the case studies to fruition at scale. 

Meanwhile, feedback from across the Culture Amp organization on the quality of the case studies has been enthusiastic; internal team members can see the difference and are excited to leverage the new library to enable additional sales—in North America and beyond.
